Where am I going with Essay 2?

With essay 2, I plan on using more textual and concise evidence to build a strong and productive essay.  I am going to be using Kathleen C. West's article, Rettberg's book, and a source of my own to support my researched blogger's identity.  Nick Sundt, the blogger that I am following who dedicated his whole blog to climate change awareness is very passionate about what he is doing.  What I am struggling with is constructed my essay and where I should place each precise details in which paragraph.  Otherwise, I think I will do pretty well on this essay.

  1. Stephanie, I think it is cool that you are still using the same blogger as your last essay, and I too am going to try harder this essay to have more textual and concise evidence. You said that you were using West's article as a source, and I don't know if you were already planning on it but I am using the table in her article as a tool to help me better use only textual evidence. It might be helpful to you as well! Good luck writing!

  2. I agree with Paige those tables will probably help tremendously. Also I like you using Nick Sundt as your blogger again I think it will be interesting to compare your two essays to see the differences and similarities. You could probably look on your first essay to see what you need to improve on for essay two

  3. Funny, but I was thinking the same thing that Paige was. :) Can you apply West's table to look at social language in Nick's blog? Or maybe you can use the table to map out examples of institutional language.
